To be a Southern artisan is a reminder that small is beautiful. It is about tradition, quality, and passion. It is artists and innovators getting back to the core of what makes a vibrant society – creativity, invention, and relationships. It is inspiring to see a new generation of Southern artisans thriving who believe in quality and in the South. Southern Reinvention, in its 3rd year, is a celebration of those artisans. This year Belle Chevre, one of the country’s most awarded and 
acclaimed artisan goat cheese creameries, is excited to combine two of its annual events to celebrate “Belle’s Big Day” on Saturday, October 10. The celebration will again gather Southern artisans, who are at the forefront of the movement to reinvent the South’s future, in Belle Chevre’s hometown of Elkmont, Alabama. Not only can you enjoy a day of Southern artisans from Marc Nelson Denim (crafting some of the coolest, most well-fitting denim you can imagine) to Piper & Leaf tea, you can also participate in the annual running with the goats.
